We are looking for a creative and tenacious product manager to guide the development of the next generation of Ebates shopping tools. You will design digital solutions that help Ebates acquire new members, help our members save more when they shop online and help our merchant partners drive cost-effective customer acquisition campaigns. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop the products that you conceive and with our sales and marketing team to launch and promote them.
Responsibilities:
- Create product vision, develop functional requirements and user interface standards for next generation of ebates.com products
- Identify best-of-breed software platforms for integration into the ebates.com technology toolkit
- Work closely with Engineering on technical design, release planning, testing, deployment and post-release stabilization
- Interface with Technical Operations and Customer Service to deliver products that are stable and well-supported
- Coordinate with Sales and Marketing during product conception phase and to launch, monetize and analyze ongoing effectiveness of products
- Work with members, partners and merchants to identify product opportunities, guide development of features and determine effectiveness of launched products
- Monitor competitive landscape for threats and opportunities to ensure that Ebates remains best-in-class
- Constantly analyze and report product success
Key Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of product management experience
- Strong experience managing web-based software products; big plus for experience with social network applications, browser extensions/toolbars or mobile applications
- Experience with two or more of the following: search marketing tools, email marketing platforms, online advertising platforms, A/B and multi-variant testing tools, advanced web analytics
- Demonstrated experience in affiliate marketing a plus
- Experience implementing personalization and optimization platforms a big plus
- Excellent user-experience design instincts
- Project management experience (both technical and non-technical aspects of projects)
- Effective written communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with agile development methodologies, especially rapid prototypes and Iterative development
- Passionate and opinionated about building great consumer experiences!
