You would be working alongside a diverse set of serial entrepreneurial geniuses in audio and video communication, networking, mobile, and web technologies. Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design of a highly scalable infrastructure for services deployment
- Participate in the development of a deployment plan and play an active role in rolling out reliable releases
- Create development, staging, and production environments to support the development team
- Put in place a set of monitoring tools and alerts for company's products infrastructure
Requirements:
- Strong desire to work for an early stage startup company
- 3-5 years experience in leading or participating in the operations of large-scale customer-facing products
- Extensive experience in deployment of large Linux servers based systems
- Solid experience in scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.)
- Experience deploying monitoring systems such as Nagios, Hobbit
- Experience with maintaining servers across several datacenters
- Experience with SCons
- Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Great communication skills
Pluses:
- Experience with EC2
- Experience in corporate IT(network management, security, account management, etc.)
- Experience with rollout of mobile applications
- Virtual Clouds computing experience
