Responsibilities:
- All aspects of functional/white box/automated testing a complex embedded real-time - media application
- Compose comprehensive and specific test cases scenarios
- Coordinate with development team to resolve issues, report
- Maintain and update automated build/test/bug tracking software
- Suggest ways to preemptively avoid bugs
Requirements:
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills
- Excellent project planning and project management skills
- Solid understanding of QA methodology
- Experience working as a hands-on QA on Android and iPhone mobile applications
- Thorough understanding of Linux, Macintosh, and Windows
- Experience writing scripts in Perl, Python, Javascript, or shell scripting
- Intermediate skills in Networking
- Intermediate skills in Unix/Linux commands
- Strong experience with embedded systems products in consumer markets
- Experience with parsing log files is a plus
- Knowledge of C++ is a plus
- Experience testing automated SMS / e-mail a plus
- Knowledge of SCons a plus
- Knowledge of Google protobufs a plus
- Experience with continuous integration a plus
- Experience with networking code, distributed systems a plus
- Experience with audio, video testing a plus
- Experience testing with WiFi and 3G a plus
- Experience working with Jabber servers a plus
- BS/MS CS/CE/EE or equivalent
