Tango based in Palo Alto, CA is looking for talented superstars who are passionate about mobile applications to join our team. We are building a fun and useful service that addresses a fundamental market need that we see transforming the way people communicate on all screens. Smartphone adoption is exploding and we're poised to become the leader in the hottest emerging space in mobile video. You would be working alongside a diverse set of serial entrepreneurial geniuses in audio and video communication, networking, mobile, and web technologies. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with graphic/UI designer to help create the vision for different features
- Interact with engineering team to define and communicate product features
- Monitor closely the competition and help position Tango's product as a strategic player in the market
- Run beta pilot programs with early versions of the service
- Work with strategic partners and pursue distribution opportunities
- Create a product features roadmap and drive successive releases of the Tango communication service
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree (preferred) from top university, engineering background a plus
- 3-5 years experience in the mobile space
- 3-5 years experience in launching successful consumer applications
- Prior experience in releasing products to the App Store
- Experience working with mobile carriers in different countries is a plus
- Experience working with telecom communication services is a plus
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methods
- Great communication skills
- Energetic, positive attitude
